In The Kitchen: You Capture

The theme for You Capture is your kitchen. My Kitchen! Yikes. Okay, so at first I thought I would be creative and take some pictures of my kitchen in a small amount of disarray with the skillets still on the counter from last nights dinner (cleaned but not put away) and the dish drainer still sitting out, but then I thought. Naw, I'm not that brave and I also saw other mommies airing out their dirty dishes and they had me beat by far in the creativity department.

So I grabbed my camera and started looking around. This is while Lorelei says "Mom, why are you always taking pictures of stuff?" My reply "Because it's fun!"

One of these contains the flour my family uses for Christmas cookies! (that's not the only time I use them, but the fondest memory.)

The basic sink. I am constantly wiping and cleaning and it is almost never kept up even after all my hard work.
Lorelei and Hannah love pink lemonade! Just letting it air out to make some more!

  3. Thank you! I felt a little out of my element for this challenge. It's rare I take a picture of anything other than my girls (okay, and the lake).

  6. Thank you Ashley!

Bec, they certainly are yummy! Mine however...eh...needs improvement. I'm not much in the kitchen, but I'm working on it.

  7. Following you from the 30 Day Blog Challenge. What beautiful pictures you take. I'm thinking I should take a very amateur photography class.

  8. Thank you! I've been thinking about an amateur photography class as well. It's mostly just fun for me right now. I love getting pictures of my girls though.
