Strong Willed Fingers and Toes

From head to toe. From fingers to toes, my little girls can be strong willed. Miss Hannah has been insisting on watching Elmo on my lap top as soon as it gets moved to the table while her sister Lorelei seems to be strong willed at any given moment. My girls are beautiful from head to toe and are very sensitive and thoughtful girls, but they sure didn't miss out on that stubborn gene.

Shutter Love: Strong
Hannah's computing fingers (the mouse is turned off, and backwards for that matter.) She is watching Elmo with a guest "Will I am."

Simplicity: Feet
Lorelei and her strong willed toes moved everything off of the bench (with her little sisters help) and made herself at home. She is also sporting a unique and beautiful outfit she chose for herself.

Have a happy Wednesday!
(As if there were any other kind.)

Smiles and Surprise

More of my girls. It's been raining and the one day we did get out for a long walk (with the girls actually walking aka mom carrying Hannah) I chose to not bring my camera. This being said you have captures from the weekend. May I add we walked a quarter of a mile down. Hiked down the sand dunes to the beach and hiked a quarter of a mile back. This is a lot while carrying an almost two year old. Okay, she walked some of the time, but wow. I digress. Here are my black and whites for today.
Hannah and Lorelei swinging on my old childhood swing set. Lorelei is clutching her new Rapunzel doll. "I know mom. They call it Tangled because her hair gets tangled." This being said after trying to comb through the dolls hair.

What's one more? The bubble shots have been such a crowd pleaser I thought I'd share one last "Wow" bubble capture. Okay, this one is in black and white so it's different. Are you tired of me yet?

In other news I have been getting ready for Theme Thursday. The theme is Signs! Have fun, get out there and capture a sign. Be creative if you wish. It would be fun to see all kinds of signs or even a creative take on "here's your sign." I hope you're having a wonderful week so far! See you tomorrow.

Oh, and here comes the blog roll. Are you ready? Take a look.

Blank Inspiration Today

Hello all. I have been very preoccupied with a brain going non stop. I am preparing for Theme Thursday tomorrow. Oh, by the way you participants ROCK! You guys are all awesome. Tune in tomorrow because Jenn and I are working on winner buttons! We definitely had enough entrants to make a top winner. (Which, by the way the winner has been chosen! Woohoo. Come back tomorrow to see. We'll choose a top five as well.) Anyhoo, in light of my lack of preparation but need to share I have blank inspiration for you today. I hope you like it!

Look at that lake! Ah. Gorgeous. Summer is almost here.

Inspiration? Yes? No? Well, obviously my shutter was way too slow for ballet. I have been having a lot of 'whoops' moments lately using manual. Here's one I thought might actually be cool as a theme one week for Theme Thursday! Slow Shutter. Maybe catching some action. Does anyone know what this is called? (If I try this again for a theme I will try to catch a bit more of Lorelei and less of a blur, but I think it's pretty cool.)

Feel free to "steal" that lake photo above for whatever. If you use it just note me as your source and link it to me. Maybe you can play with it. Layer it and add a boat or something funny or beautiful. Have fun!

Come back tomorrow! Round five of Theme Thursday: Transportation. So fun. Again, you guys rocked the theme A Touch of Spring from last week!

You know what. If you've participated you should be awarded. Participation is certainly reward-able.

Grab it!

Another Day Another Diaper

I'm in a good mood people. Good mood. Oh, I can't forget. If you have any theme ideas leave them in this posts comments. I'd love to check them out!

A Ballerina Wednesday

You may feel like you've been here before. Well, I've posted Ballerina pictures before, but I had a nice plan this time to actually focus on the photography this time. Well, there was a surprise for me and every other momma for Ballet Class. First, if you'd like to take a look at my previous ballet post click here. Now that you're all caught up go ahead and view what I have today.

We arrived early and we waited.

We met up with friends.

...but little did ALL of the moms know ballet was cancelled.
We never made it through the beautiful blue door.

We made the best of it.

We went home and she showed off her moves there.

A Little Wordless, A Little Black & White, A lot of Smiles

Take a break. Have a smile.

Happy girls. Lorelei and Hannah set up shop on the bench which included a lot of stuffed animals, dolls and blankets. Giggles soon erupted.

Happy Wednesday!

Black and White Wordless(ish) {Dedication} Wednesday

Today, it's about my husband and how awesome he is. He works hard, loves his kids and does everything he can for a lot more than just himself. He takes fantastic captures, builds computers as well as so many other things. Here is my black and white sort-of-not-really wordless Wednesday dedicated to my husband with whom I love very much.

I took this.

He took these.
(minus my shot of him dead center.)

A Lovely Wordless(ish) and Black & White Wednesday

The Paper Mama

My beautiful girls Hannah and Lorelei pause and take a moment for the camera. I was not prepared and it was in front of a glaring window. I don't know about you, but this momma is not going to miss a moment like that even if the pictures turned out fuzzy.

Only moments after Hannah took off in her infamous "go..go..goo" run across the room while her sister Lorelei wanted nothing more than just a few more pictures with her.

Oh, a side note: yes Lorelei picked out her own clothes. Well, more of I had jeans on her and she wanted to wear this skirt instead. Plus these were new shoes that she did not want to take off.
