Spring. Still a little wet. Still a little frozen on this fine Spring day we went out to play. The sun was even shining.
Our boots were getting muddy.
The ice mountains were worth climbing.
..and on our way back up we even stole a view of something beautiful.
Go out and play! The air was so nice and the kids came in for a warm bath, pajamas and a cartoon before bed. Within no time they were fast asleep. Happy Friday!
That's a lovely morning. Your daughter is really enjoying it, bonding time is always enjoyable, whatever the sky condition might be!
ReplyDeleteLove these shots - have a great weekend!

ReplyDeleteThanks Nicole! You know it was funny! I went out to take a picture of my weeds (rolling eyes) and sat down and saw the little ladybug. The only issue was hoping he would stay still for a min. I took about 3 pics and got mine. Yay! I can plan and plan a photo and it NEVER works. Lately, it is always when I least expect it! I have gotten lucky! I am your newest follower! I love the picture of your daughter holding up her arms.

ReplyDeleteThank you everyone. My sweet Lorelei. Yes, she is the theatrical one by far. I remember the first time she stood up at the beach (a very public beach) and started belting out in song standing on a rock. Everyone turned and looked at her and then at me. All I did was smile and tell her how proud I was and that it must have taken a lot of courage. Too funny, those moments. (There was a nice reminder later that we share the beach with others too.)
ReplyDeleteI absolutely adore those shots- made me smile.
