Scavenger Hunt Sunday: 3/27

I enjoyed yet another scavenger hunt. I really do like participating and seeing what everyone else finds. It truly brings me joy so without further ado I bring you my captures for this weeks challenge.

1. Decay
Bikes, left over sitting out throughout the winter rusting and covered in last Autumns fallen leaves.

2. Groups of Three
Okay, so you've got me. This isn't exactly "three," but more of three groups of three. Does this count? I have more accurate interpretations and some very cute ones with the girls in fact, but I really enjoyed this shot. I hope you like it!

3. Kitchen
Mmmm...coffee. My morning routine differs between coffee or latte. That would be my difficult morning decision. Every morning my girls and I wake up and Hannah has her milk, Lorelei has a warm "hot" chocolate and I make either a coffee or a latte. (Don't worry, the "hot cocoa is Ovaltine...healthier that way.)

4. Things that make you go "hmm"
My daughter and her Daddy both playing with technology. Lorelei has my Ipod and Dad's using his Android. This is fairly regular; Lorelei using my Ipod. Miss Hannah even gets a turn or two.

5. Me Time
I really enjoy taking the time out to go to a Yoga class with a friend of mine.

  1. I especially love "group of threes". And, that yoga mat looks rather brand new! I hope you put a lot of miles on it! Serenity NOW! ; )

  2. Your #4 made me smile.... this is a common sight over here as well. They love playing with my husband's Android phone. My phone is so old it doesn't even have any game, so they pretty much leave mine alone. :)

I love the processing in your Group of Three shot!

  3. Paula, yes the mat sure looks new doesn't it. I have had it for years, but I don't use it all that much. I've just started yoga classes not too long ago with a friend and I'm really enjoying it.

Thank you Buckeroomama! I always love your comments. My youngest found Dad's phone and my Ipod just this morning and started calling her sister. I soon found out it was to play together. Sneaky little girl.

Thank you for the comments ladies!

  8. I love the pic of you fixing your coffee. It looks so good and smells so good, but I just don't like the taste. It's diet coke for me. Clever interpretion for groups of 3! And the photo of your daughter and her dad together is really sweet!

  9. Lovely pictures. We just broke our bikes free from their garage prison a couple of weeks ago...about time!
I love the graphic quality of your group(s) of three. You could sell it as a print on etsy!
I also love the peaceful scene of your loves cuddled up together. Nice work!

  26. The answer to your question about "Hmmm" is a bit of a sad story. A mentally ill elderly gentleman lives there, abandoned years ago by his family. He scours the neighborhood for discards he can sell, and the neighbors take turns giving him food.

  27. Stefanie, Melissa, Kathleen, Kristen and Serline thank you so much for your comments!

Serline, your photo was beautiful and the story is sad, but it is wonderful that the neighbors are so kind. Thank you for coming back to tell the story.
