Sky Watch Friday: Fly Away Home

Thank you for stopping by and please feel free to share any thoughts. For other Sky Watch photos please take a  look here.

Skywatch Friday

I think this is the shortest post I've ever put up. My Hannah just woke up. Look back later and hopefully I can get up the original to this shot. I think you might be surprised. Thanks again!

UPDATE:

Check out the SOOC (Straight Out of Camera shot)

Do you see that tiny little butterfly? That's what I cropped for my Sky Watch shot for today. What do you think?

  4. Great shot, I wonder what kind of bird that is.

  5. It's actually a butterfly. I will definitely have to post the original so you guys can see it. I was actually walking up the stairs with my girls and kind of flung my hand back when I saw the butterfly fly overhead and snapped the shot.

  6. Oh that's awesome! I would have never guessed it was the same shot. Again I feel obligated to mention I'm TOTALLY jealous of where you live! Just beautiful! :-)

  7. I had to compare the details even though I could see the butterfly's wings were in exactly the same position in both pictures. Good photo if you can crop a corner out and not have it all grainy or out of focus. Good work if you can take pictures while walking up the stairs with your children!!

  8. Thank you ladies. Yes, as a mommy of two I have done my best to perfect the "not looking" shot. Too funny. I was very happy when I could get anything at all from it and even happier you like it. Thank you again!

  12. It definitely turned out to be an interesting shot, but most of the fun was editing it. I'm glad you guys like it. Thanks!
