Gone to the Beach

Hello all. Happy Monday. We went to the beach over the weekend with our kids and our Nikon D40. Why? Well, the kids are fun to hang around with and the Canon Rebel isn't exactly "allowed" down to the beach. Our Nikon was presumed to broken numerous times and the diagnosis was beach sand in the components. Today's share is one of mine and one of Matt's. I was running with the girls quite a bit so my captures looked like I was running with the children. First my shot and then my husbands (edited by me).

    Whoa, that splash capture is incredible! I've been playing with my shutter speed lately...hope I can get one that beautiful!

    I am with you on the Rebel thing...I took mine into the wading pool at the Y a couple of months ago...I had to assign a friend to Wy-watching since I wasn't sure I wanted to sacrifice the camera if he wanted to do something crazy!

    Oh and I'm TOTALLY JEALOUS that you got to go to the beach. We had 32 degree weather for May 1 with light snow flakes :( GRR!!! Haha
