Grandma Zumi's Cookies with a Twist

Okay, so my family and I went down to see more family over the weekend and the girls Grandma Zumi made these awesome home made cookies that the girls can't get enough of. This same Grandma sent home these amazing cookies that the girls still want to eat at all hours. I bake, but not necessarily from scratch. Can you see me squinting in a way when I say "not necessarily." That means...nope. I don't bake from scratch. That's a secret so don't tell anyone! Anyhoo. I noticed Shutter Love Tuesdays blog hop for "COOKIES" and immediately thought "Grandma Zumi."

So here I am sitting on the floor like some kind of doink trying to discover a great angle and light for a shot of cookies. How do you do this? I don't know?

Here I am breaking cookies to get crumbs on the plate and trying to get some kind of creative thought out of my brain and in walks my husband. Actually sitting near me on the computer laughing at me while informing me to use a different lens and tripod (no one likes a no it all mister). Alas my cookie shot is born. He has a great idea! (Yes, you heard me right. He was right and funny too!)

Although I ended up enjoying my cookie shots this is just too funny and cute to pass up:

  2. Those are too funny! I do hope you let the puppy eat the cookie when you were done. :)

  3. Wow your dog is well trained. I would never be quick enough to get a shot of our dog before he ate the cookie.

  4. Oh my gosh....there's NO way our dog would've sat still for that! Great shot!

  5. I thought it was too funny. I gleamed when he suggested it. Our dog Bones has sat for about 20 minutes with a french fry on his nose before. He almost never listens to anyone other than my husband who says "get it" and he flips it up and eats it. I tried to get the shot, but he was too fast. It was just a blur. I'm glad you guys liked it!

  8. He is a wonder. He is almost 11 years old and he doesn't look it. He's getting a little lazy with the kids feeding him everything (and apparently me too), but he loves them SO much!
