I Went Outside to Play (with my new toy)
It has been a while. How are you? Me? Well, I have way too much to tell and a mind way to clogged so here is just a bit. I am potty training my youngest. My oldest is loving her position as a big sister. My husband loves his computer (aka his baby, which he is photographing right now). My husband bought me a new computer as well as a new camera (canon rebel T1I). My diet needs a revamp. My husband also bought me a new sewing machine (I haven't sewn since high school). Well, there is all too much to tell so here are a few pictures that I took today with my new camera. Enjoy mommies little play time. I'm just happy my fingers didn't fall off. (insert adorable wink here)

Beautiful pictures Nicole! I am excited you now have sewing machine. We should all get together sometime and make a project. Hope you are having a good weekend!
ReplyDeleteWoe! Sounds like you had a nice Christmas in February! Did you figure out the sewing machine? Eden kindly reminded me again to start sewing her birthday dress. :)
ReplyDeleteKelly, thank you! I'm very happy with the sewing machine. I've wanted one for quite some time, but I never validated the purchase. I guess that is what is there for. :) I think that sounds like fun. In fact I spoke with Sheri and Jenn about my sewing too!
ReplyDeleteSheri, it seems that way doesn't it. I think it's more of a bribe of sorts. ;) There is more to the story than meets the eye. It was definitely very nice of him and I don't think I would own anything if he didn't go out and buy it without my knowledge. I'm not very good at spending money. Oh, and Matt figured out what my problem was. I unfortunately hate to admit that I missed a step in my bobbin case threading which caused the lack of tension.
As far as making a dress. Good for you. I thought it would be easy. I went out and bought templates and opened them up and immediately got tense and irritable. I almost immediately folded it back up for another day. I had no idea it was iron on. It just seems like an extra step. I might cheat and cut it out anyway.
Any sewing tips or ideas are more than welcome here. ;) Thank you for the comments ladies!
*Kelly it looks like I missed "Matt" in that is what - is there for.
ReplyDeleteWOW i forgot just how amazing you are! Love these shots Nicole! What does Thurs look like for you? I think i may try and snag the car if you would be up for some company?
