Over at The Paper Mama the newest photo challenge is for a self portrait. I'm not so fond of photos of myself. I enjoy being behind the camera. Don't get me wrong, I like having photos with my family and to remember events and time with them, but I've never done well being the center of attention so I tried taking this challenge in a more artsy way. Please enjoy my interpretation of the challenge. I have labeled my photo self reflection.

ReplyDeleteThank you Ashley. I'm glad it worked out and I am surprised that in the end I liked this the best out of my other shots. I stood up on my tippy toes and hoped the camera would get just the right angle and stopped after one take because I assumed it was hopeless. Thanks again Ashley!
ReplyDeleteOh, this is AWESOME! Seriously...everything about it. :-) I can't even figured out how you did it! I would love to take more self-portraits, but sadly the camera dislikes me very, very much. I even just got a new tripod and wireless remote, and I've only posted ONE new pic on my blog - LOL! Oh well!

Thank you Karli. Yes...tippy toes to reach the window (as I am 5'1") and my right arm up in the air. I stopped after just one shot because I thought it would never work out right. In the end I really liked it. I didn't do any editing either because I just didn't know what else to do with it.
